Nithyananda Purnima was celebrated in a grand way at the Nithyananda Vedic Temple on Sunday, June 7.

Nithyananda Purnima celebrates the anniversary of Paramahamsa Nithyananda’s first experience of enlightenment. On Nithyananda Purnima, Swamiji awakened to the realization that he was one with the whole of Existence and everything was him.

Celebrations included milk abishekam (sacred bath) and grand alankar (decoration) of Anandeshwara with fruits, a special guru puja, Maha Arati and Maha Prasad. The evening celebrations concluded with a screening of Swamji’s discourse on his first enlightenment experience. Over 300 people enjoyed the blissful celebrations at the temple on Nithyananda Purnima throughout the day.
